"Nope. Hindu, Christian, Buddhist, we accept them all!"
Okuribito/Departures: such a beautiful, beautiful film. ♥ *sighs happily*
I have this tendency during long (>2 hours) films to suddenly think 'This movie is TOO LONG I AM DYING HELP' halfway though, but surprisingly enough I didn't for this one. The pacing is nicely done, the plot is simple, and it was a pleasure watching all the little sub-stories unfold within the main one. And the music is pretty as well. Pretty, pretty classical I could listen to all day long. ♥
The second half of the movie had everyone bringing out tissue packets and sniffing all the way to the end.
Photo dump now.

The paperdolls are taking over my desk now. It's a wonder I get anything done when they're in front of me and I'm all 'Ahhh MY PRETTIES SO CUTE ♥♥♥♥' XD;

Waging war on my laptop. XD
Pairings: (Ignore the lurking and too!bright Japan in background please =_=)

Axis powers = APH canon!OT3-I ♥

England and Japan. England's colors came out the nicest among all the dolls I've made so far. Japan doesn't look too impressed though. XD I got into this pairing from watching too many pretty MADs/AMVs.

North and South Italy. Their antennas/curls had me squinting and cutting very, very carefully.
True story: My mother wandered into my room, took a look at my table and declared North Italy her favorite because of his blue uniform and 'he has lipstick on, so colorful!'. I had to wait for her to leave the room before I screamed with laughter. XD
But even in canon South Italy always seems to be getting the short end of the stick, compared to his younger brother. Poor thing. *pats*

Russia and China. Here, have awesome fic. Second fic has China screaming in embarrassment at a gyrating and hip-thrusting Korea.
I accidentally knocked my Nendoroid L off his chair the other day and sent him bowling into the paperdolls. Assessing the damage done, I discovered that England had been completely knocked off his feet while Germany and China were still intact with only their heads a little squashed. Resilient countries indeed. XD
And since I was transferring photos anyway:

I REALLY NEED TO STOP PROCRASTINATING. LIKE, NOW. T_T
